Winter Activities at Prospect Park

Come to Wollman Rink, which provides 26,600 square feet of ice for skaters in the winter and pedal boats on the lake in the summer. The Rink was built in 1960 – after the Park was completed. Many visitors, specifically ice skaters, have enjoyed this new addition to the park. You can also find the Brooklyn Blades amateur men’s and ice hockey teams practicing here.

Wollman Rink can be found between the Lake and the Concert Grove. The rink is on the site that used to be the Music Island.
